The Time Jim picked up his brother's Sh#t....
1977, Marrickville. 5 year old George runs to the toilet to only realise that Jim is using it. George knocks on the door, Jim tells him he will be out as soon as possible. George is waiting, jumping around trying to hold it in. Jim was taking longer than usual, so George had to act right there, in the laundry. He embarrassingly takes a dump on the floor of the laundry. Suddenly Tina appears due to the smell reaching the TV room. Tina and George are looking as this turd, disgusted, not knowing what to do. Jim finally comes out. Obviously, Jim has a smile on his face, watching his younger siblings who are in disgust and not knowing what to do. Jim just reaches down, grabs the shit, throws it in the toilet, flushes, then washes his hands. George and Tina were laughing their heads off. Jim got the job done.
The "Anton" Ritual
When me and Jim would come home from an outing, we would not drive home directly. We would take a small detour ( 2 blocks up the road ) so we could drive past Tina’s Godfather’s house, and scream out his name. We had probably woken up the neighbourhood a few times. Jim would scream at the top of his lungs “Andoni” in Greek of course. I would join along.
